PBX Operator, PRN

Job Summary

The PBX Operator supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality answering all incoming call and routing them accurately. Assists with outgoing calls and monitors all alarms throughout the hospital.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED
  • One year of switchboard experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to keep focused during time of crisis
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous healthcare experience strongly preferred
