Recruitment Assistant

Job Summary

The Recruitment Assistant supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality by being responsible for the fulfillment of administrative, clerical and logistical activities that support the full life cycle recruitment process through the onboarding of new talent to YRMC and YRMCPC. Participates in process improvement activities to support the achievement of overall recruitment and retention strategies and initiatives.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED
  • Three years of recruitment/employment, HR generalist or related administrative experience; healthcare experience preferred. Two years of Human Resources related college level courses could substitute for one year of required experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with recruiters, hiring managers and others to effectively coordinate team activities to achieve common goals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to a wide variety of audiences
  • Excellent detail and organizational skills and the ability to work independently to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws strongly preferred
