Sr HR Benefits Assistant

Job Summary

The HR Senior Benefits Assistant supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality providing Human Resources Department operational and administrative support. Responsible to administer various employee benefit programs and serve as an information resource to employees.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED
  • Three years administrative experience preferably related to insurance, employee benefits and/or human resources
  • Two years of Human Resources related college level courses could substitute for one year of required experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent detail and organizational skills and the ability to work independently to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Benefit Open Enrollment a plus
  • Database systems management experience
  • Experience working with Benefit Admin systems and SAAS platforms
  • Human Resource Information System (HRIS) experience strongly preferred
  • Healthcare experience
